Red strains
Traditionally associated with relaxing effects. Red Bali, Red Maeng Da and Red Borneo are popular names.
Green strains
Middle-of-the-road — often described as balanced. Green Malay and Green Thai are common.
White strains
Traditionally associated with more energizing effects. White Borneo and White Indo are popular.
Yellow strains
A newer category, often a blend or a specific fermentation process.
Do colors matter for 7-OH tablets?
For refined 7-OH extracts, strain color is largely irrelevant — the alkaloid has been isolated and standardized. For raw leaf or full-spectrum products, the color can be a useful shorthand.
